NOVA Information Management School (NOVA IMS) is the School of Statistics and Information Management of Universidade NOVA de Lisboa. NOVA IMS’ strategy for the mid-term is to develop and expand its current academic and scientific projects whilst upkeeping its values and strategic guidelines.

Directly related to this strategy, there was the need to develop a new direct communication channel with the students and a platform where students could access School information and services anywhere, anytime and above all, on the go.

My NOVA IMS is the official app for NOVA Information Management School. Through the app, NOVA IMS’ students can access their personal information any time any place. It allows them to keep their timetables organized, as the app enables them to see their class schedule and assigned classroom and their exams calendar, helping them plan out their study sessions and alerting them on upcoming exams.

In the app, students can also check their grades, allowing them to always be up to date on their performance and results. They can also access their billing information, helping them control their tuition fees and payments and alerting them for any pending situations or issues regarding this topic.

With My NOVA IMS, students can easily be updated on events and the School’s agenda, check for job opportunities, keeping the job market on their radar, as well as seeing in real-time which classrooms are available for self-study.

The My NOVA IMS app provides students a mobile access to all of NOVA IMS’ most important services and information, it allows the School to gain a privileged and direct communication channel with their students, bringing both sides closer. It also greatly supports NOVA IMS on the achievement of their mid-term strategy of technological innovation.
