BPI took a revolutionary step towards the future by opening the first and only branch of a Portuguese bank in the Metaverse. To further drive this innovation, NextReality was challenged to create features on this innovative platform.
Now, using Virtual Reality, customers have the opportunity to be served in a completely immersive way by their account managers. Furthermore, users have access to an exclusive area dedicated to the Portuguese Football Federation, with emphasis on national teams and Women’s Football.
In this space, they can virtually enter the stadium to put on gloves and defend penalties, proudly raise the cups won by our national team (including the European Champions cup) and explore the official equipment.
The banking experience has never been so engaging and exciting and NextReality is proud to be part of it! The BPI VR application is available for download at the Oculus Quest Store and virtual reality equipment is available at BPI All in One in Saldanha and at the Rossio, Marquês, Chiado, Estoril and Cascais branches – so that Customers can experience the BPI VR branch.

Meta Quest 2
The Meta Quest 2 device is a stand alone virtual reality device (which does not need to be connected to an auxiliary computer) produced and marketed by Meta. When using the Quest 2, the user is inserted into a 100% digital immersive environment, being able to view 360º content and interact using hand controls.
At NextReality, we have been working with the Meta Quest 2 device since 2020, having developed projects specifically designed for Quest 2 for sectors such as tourism, banking or events.
