WasteApp arises with the need to inform the citizen of the destinations of various residues that cannot be placed in ecopoints.
Quercus receives requests for clarification on a daily basis about the destination of various types of waste. Wasteapp tells you the nearest place where to put them for reuse and recycling. We intend to bring together the largest number of existing destinations in Portugal.

The solution
Quercus wants to help all Portuguese people in this task, together we can increase recycling rates and reduce our impact on the planet. WasteApp helps you to separate garbage and find the correct destination for a wide range of urban waste produced.
You can consult the application on your mobile phone or on your computer and search for the nearest destinations for a wide variety of waste separated by around 50 different types of waste. The application is very easy to use and allows you to quickly find the closest place to your location where to deliver the garbage you have at home. You will also be able to clarify any doubts you have about the waste you should or should not put in the ecopoint and the various waste streams that exist in Portugal.
